Affiliate Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 1, 2026

Table of Contents

These Affiliate Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") govern your participation in the Routri Affiliate Program ("Program"). By enrolling in the Program, you ("Affiliate," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these terms. Routri ("Routri," "we," "us," or "our") reserves the right to modify these terms at any time with 30 days' notice.

1. Program Overview

The Routri Affiliate Program allows approved partners to earn commission by referring travelers to Routri through unique tracking links, widgets, and promotional content. When a traveler clicks your affiliate link and completes a qualifying booking on Routri, you earn a commission on that booking. The Program is free to join and there are no minimum booking requirements to maintain your account.

2. Eligibility & Enrollment

The Affiliate Program is open to:

  • Travel bloggers, content creators, and influencers with an established online presence.
  • Travel-focused websites, comparison platforms, and review sites.
  • Email newsletter publishers with a travel or lifestyle audience.
  • Social media creators with a minimum of 1,000 followers on at least one platform.
  • Travel agencies and tour operators looking to supplement their offerings (see also our Travel Agent Terms).

Routri reviews all applications and reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion. Approval is based on content quality, audience relevance, traffic volume, and alignment with Routri's brand values. Applications are typically reviewed within 5 business days.

3. Commission Structure

3.1 Commission Rates

Affiliates earn a percentage commission on each qualifying completed booking. The standard commission rate is 5% of the total booking value. Premium affiliates who generate more than 50 bookings per month may qualify for enhanced rates of up to 8%, subject to individual agreement.

3.2 Qualifying Bookings

A booking qualifies for commission when all of the following conditions are met:

  • The traveler clicked your affiliate link within the attribution window (see Section 4).
  • The booking was completed and paid for on Routri.
  • The experience was delivered (the traveler attended the tour or activity).
  • The booking was not subsequently cancelled or refunded.

3.3 Exclusions

Commission is not payable on bookings made by you, your employees, or your immediate family members. Commission is not payable on gift card purchases, bookings made using promotional codes not issued through the Affiliate Program, or bookings that are later fully refunded.

4. Tracking & Attribution

4.1 Cookie Duration

Routri uses a 30-day cookie window for attribution. If a traveler clicks your affiliate link and completes a booking within 30 days, the booking is attributed to you. The cookie is reset with each new click on your affiliate link.

4.2 Last-Click Attribution

Routri uses a last-click attribution model. If a traveler clicks multiple affiliate links before booking, the commission is attributed to the last affiliate link clicked within the cookie window.

4.3 Tracking Dashboard

You can monitor clicks, conversions, and earnings in real time through your Affiliate Dashboard. Routri makes reasonable efforts to ensure tracking accuracy but does not guarantee that all clicks or conversions will be recorded due to factors such as ad blockers, cookie restrictions, or technical issues.

5. Payments

5.1 Payment Schedule

Affiliate commissions are paid monthly, on the 15th of each month, for all qualifying bookings completed in the previous calendar month. There is a 30-day holding period after the experience date to account for potential cancellations or refunds.

5.2 Minimum Payout

The minimum payout threshold is $50 USD (or equivalent in your selected currency). If your balance is below the threshold, it carries over to the next payment period. Balances are not forfeited and will be paid once the threshold is reached.

5.3 Payment Methods

Payments are made via bank transfer or PayPal, as selected in your Affiliate Dashboard. You are responsible for any transaction fees charged by your payment provider. You must provide accurate payment details and keep them up to date.

6. Promotional Guidelines

When promoting Routri, you must:

  • Clearly disclose your affiliate relationship with Routri in compliance with FTC guidelines, ASA regulations, and any applicable local advertising standards. Use clear language such as "affiliate link" or "I earn a commission if you book through this link."
  • Provide honest, accurate information about Routri's tours and services. Do not make claims about specific tours that you have not verified.
  • Ensure all promotional content is clearly distinguishable from editorial content.
  • Respect Routri's brand guidelines when using logos, images, or other brand assets (see Section 8).

7. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination:

  • Cookie stuffing: Placing affiliate cookies without genuine user interaction or intent.
  • Paid search brand bidding: Bidding on "Routri," "routri.com," or any misspellings in paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.) without prior written approval.
  • Misleading advertising: Creating fake reviews, fabricating discounts, or making false claims about Routri's services.
  • Spam: Sending unsolicited emails, messages, or comments containing affiliate links.
  • Incentivized clicks: Offering rewards, points, or payments to users for clicking your affiliate links.
  • Trademark infringement: Registering domain names containing "Routri" or creating websites that could be confused with Routri's official properties.
  • Adult or illegal content: Placing affiliate links on websites containing adult, violent, discriminatory, or illegal content.

8. Brand Usage

Approved affiliates may use Routri's logo and brand assets solely for the purpose of promoting Routri through the Affiliate Program. Brand assets are available for download in your Affiliate Dashboard. You must use the assets as provided without modification to colors, proportions, or design. You may not use Routri's brand in a way that implies endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership beyond the affiliate relationship without prior written consent.

9. Liability & Disclaimers

Routri provides the Affiliate Program on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee any specific level of earnings, traffic, or conversions. You are solely responsible for the content you create and the platforms on which you promote Routri. You agree to indemnify Routri against any claims arising from your promotional activities, including but not limited to claims of false advertising, intellectual property infringement, or privacy violations.

10. Termination

10.1 Voluntary Termination

You may leave the Program at any time by deactivating your account through the Affiliate Dashboard or by contacting us at partners@routri.com. Outstanding commissions above the minimum payout threshold will be paid in the next regular payment cycle.

10.2 Termination by Routri

Routri may terminate your participation immediately for violation of these terms, or with 14 days' notice for any other reason. Upon termination for cause, any unpaid commissions may be forfeited. Upon termination without cause, all earned commissions will be paid according to the regular schedule.

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, you must remove all Routri affiliate links, widgets, and brand assets from your platforms within 14 days. Bookings made through your links before termination that are completed within the cookie window will still qualify for commission.

11. General Provisions

  • Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
  • Relationship: This Agreement does not create an employment, agency, or joint venture relationship. You are an independent contractor.
  • Amendments: Routri may amend these terms by providing 30 days' notice via email. Continued participation in the Program after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
  • Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding the Affiliate Program.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
  • No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
