Getting Started
Who can join the Routri Travel Agent Program?
The program is open to anyone who recommends tours to travelers — hotel receptionists, concierge staff, freelance agents, drivers, travel agencies, and tour reps. No travel agency license is required.
How do I register?
Visit our Travel Agent Program page and click "Start Earning." Create your account in under 2 minutes — no application queue, no approval wait. You get instant access to the agent portal after email verification.
What do I get access to?
Once registered, you have full access to the Agent Portal: search tours with real-time availability, book on behalf of clients, generate share-with-client links, track your commission and performance, manage vouchers, and access WhatsApp support.
Is there a minimum booking requirement?
No. There are no minimum booking requirements. Book as much or as little as you want. Higher volume unlocks better commission tiers automatically.
Booking for Clients
How do I make a booking for a client?
Two ways: book directly through the Agent Portal (search tours, select dates and participants, enter client details, get instant confirmation) or generate a personalized share link that your client can book through themselves — commission is attributed to you either way.
Can I book via WhatsApp?
Yes. Routri is WhatsApp-first. You can initiate bookings, check availability, and receive confirmations and vouchers directly on WhatsApp. The portal serves as your dashboard for tracking and management.
How do share-with-client links work?
In the Agent Portal, find the tour you want to recommend and click "Generate Link." Share it via WhatsApp, email, or any messaging platform. When your client books through that link, the booking is automatically attributed to your account. Links are valid for 30 days.
What information do I need from my client?
Full name, contact email or phone number, and any special requirements. For tours with pickup service, you'll also need their hotel name. That's it — keep it simple.
Can I modify or cancel a booking?
Yes. Manage bookings through the Agent Portal. Date changes and participant modifications are subject to availability — submit requests at least 48 hours before the experience. Cancellations follow the tour's cancellation policy shown at booking time.
Commission & Payments
What commission do I earn?
You start at 15% commission on every confirmed booking. Agents with 10+ bookings per month qualify for 18% (Active tier). High-volume partners with 30+ bookings per month earn 20% (Hotel Partner tier). Tiers upgrade automatically.
When and how do I get paid?
Payouts are processed weekly for Standard and Active tiers, and daily for Hotel Partners. Choose your preferred method: InstaPay, Vodafone Cash, bank transfer, or PayPal. Minimum payout threshold is $50.
How do I track my earnings?
The Agent Portal dashboard shows your bookings, commission earned, current tier, progress to next tier, pending payouts, and payment history. Filter by date range, destination, or booking status.
Can I earn by referring other agents?
Yes. Refer another agent using your unique referral link. When they make their first confirmed booking, you earn a 2.5% bonus on their commission for 6 months. Non-stackable and non-renewable.
How does the tier system work?
Tiers are evaluated monthly based on your confirmed booking count. Standard (0-9 bookings) = 15%, Active (10-29 bookings) = 18%, Hotel Partner (30+ bookings) = 20%. You auto-upgrade mid-month when you hit a threshold. Tiers reset monthly.
Support & Operations
What support is available?
WhatsApp support available 24/7 for urgent booking issues. Priority email support at partners@routri.com with response within 4 hours during business hours (Sunday–Thursday, 9 AM–6 PM Cairo time). Real humans, not ticket queues.
What payout methods are available?
InstaPay (instant in Egypt), Vodafone Cash (instant in Egypt), bank transfer (1-3 business days), and PayPal (1-2 business days). You can add up to 5 payout methods and set one as default.
What destinations and tours are available?
Currently 200+ tours across 16+ destinations including Hurghada, Marsa Alam, El Gouna, Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan. Inventory covers boat trips, diving, safaris, cultural tours, transfers, and more.
Do you offer training or resources?
Yes. The Agent Portal includes a help center with destination guides, product training, and selling tips. New agents get a guided onboarding tour of the portal features.
